Music Magazine Audience

My Indie Rock Magazine Audience:

My magazine is based for readers of no specific gender and is not partially based around either. The age of these readers is between 15 years of age and 35 years of age, yet the contents will be flexible and contain no childish or explicitly mature features. They shall be of no specific background and only buy the magazine due to their liking for Indie genre music.

The category of background that I would expect the readers of my magazine to come from are areas B and below due to the professional layout and design of the magazine cover and contents along with the mature information and articles that the magazine could contain.

The target audience of my magazine will be expecting to see famous artists of the selected genre on the cover as this will entice them into reading it. They would also be expecting other artists to be featured as secondary articles and news to make the magazine look interesting, insightful and entertaining.

The audience will not expect the contents to connect with them or give advice as it is seen as an informative magazine so the articles will have to be written in such a way.
